Introducing the wonderful ‘College Road Shaker’ recently completed, kitted out with our popular ‘Wilsden’ cabinetry, finished in a two-tone colour scheme combination with ‘Cobham Blue’ & ‘Cashmere’ complemented with the 30mm Arctic Shimmer Quartz.

The use of the contrasting colours was certainly a wise decision for the space on this project and provides a tasteful and classy touch of colour. Although the skylights provide a vast amount of natural light, ensuring the majority of cabinetry was finished in a lighter colour really does emphasis the fresh and crisp feel this kitchen holds.

Again, contrast & combination was a key factor when it came to the design process with this project, and the use of the mixed stone/oak worktops really ties the room together, especially the beautiful oak beam mantle matching with the partial oak worktop space. The use of oak wasn’t essential, but when visualised during the planning phase really connected with our client.

Although the extension implemented modernised and expanded the overall space, incorporating certain elements such as the range cooker & oak features really preserved those traditional values, and overall, we are delighted with the final aesthetic of this project, and believe this is a perfect example of what can be achieved with the right creative brief.
