At Hamilton Stone Design, we’re always on the look out for pretty finishing touches for the kitchens we design and install. When December rolls around our clients are searching for the perfect festive decorations for their brand new kitchen, so we decided to put together our favourite picks of the year.

An attractive mantlepiece makes for a chic way to hide your extractor fan. Considering the upcoming holiday season, they lend themselves well to a festive garland decoration. We love this glamorous garland from The White Company, or for a more natural version go for this one from M&S.

We love this delicate table centrepiece. Tying your table decorations in with your kitchen colour scheme will compliment it perfectly. Or, if time is running out and you need a ‘quick fix’, buy a few of these ornate pillar candles and interweave them with pinecones, baubles and red berry sprigs.

Most people want to keep their work surfaces clear for food prep, but that doesn’t mean you can’t decorate your window space! This classic wreath adds some festive cheer to the room. Alternatively, you can hang some baubles or fairy lights for anyone walking by to admire.
